Here at Principal Resourcing, we are actively seeking to appoint a passionate and caring Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join the supportive staff team at one of our Specialist Provision Schools based in Leeds.
The full-time role is available with immediate start and will provide effective care, support and educational opportunities for pupils with a range of SEN and physical/medical difficulties. You will ideally have previous experience working with children aged 2-19years with additional needs and the ability to promote a calm and caring environment.
The Specialist Provision caters for pupils aged 2-19 years with moderate to complex learning need and disabilities. They operate across a variety of sites, running outreach programmes and services to support the local community. They are seeking a friendly and calm natured Level 2 Teaching Assistant to bring joy to learning, adapting resources to meet the learning needs of students and providing them with a safe and calm space to reach their full potential and access the national curriculum.
You can expect to earn up to £100 per day for this role depending on experience.
We are seeking a L2 TA with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant/SEN qualification or equivalent.
- A kind, caring and consistent approach.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting SEN pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
