We have a wonderful opportunity for a friendly and engaging Teaching Assistant to join the supportive staff team at one of our partnership Primary Schools based in Wakefield (WF4). You will provide effective learning support and guidance for pupils across the KS1/2 curriculum on a full time basis.

You will work closely with teaching staff, delivering suitable intervention, supporting lesson input in the mainstream classroom and ensure strong communication to promote consistent progression across a range of subjects.
The School are seeking a candidate who is:

- In possession of a minimum of grade C or 4/5 GCSE English and Maths
- Resilient
- Willing to work hard supporting the maintenance and improvement of all school learning
- Able to show initiative and has the confidence to facilitate learning in each moment
- Keen to understand how young children learn best and build on their own learning through coaching, training and reading

- Able and confident to lead learning activities as required
We are seeking a Teaching Assistant with:
- A full and relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent.
- Confidence, inclusivity, and passion for supporting pupil progression.
- Strong subject knowledge and familiarity with the UK Curriculum.
- An enhanced DBS disclosure or be willing to obtain one through us.
- Right to Work in the UK, unfortunately we are unable to offer Visa Sponsorship.
